The Team Awards |
This was another dynamite show and the best Seven Feathers show by RK Smith Productions. This year had the largest turnout of athletes ever, 136 of them. And in all categories, including, new for this show, the Bikini division, filled with lovely fabulous looking ladies.
The very entertaining emcee, Kim "Kong" Farrison started the show by introducing the promoters, Ron and Sue Smith and thanked them for organizing such a great show. In turn, Ron and Sue had presented several Team Awards, presented to teams that sponsor five or more athletes in the show. |

Special Award to Troy Davidson |
|
A very special award was presented to Troy Davidson, a teacher and Wolf Creek Job Corp Student Leader, whose students helped Ron and Sue help in setting up for the Seven Feathers show and changing the set between Prejudging and the night show. He was recognized for his dedication in teaching, inspiring and challenging his students at Wolf Creek Job Corp. They did a great job, and Troy deserved this recognition. |

Guest Posers |
|
The show certainly was not lacking for guest posers. There were great names, IFBB Fitness Pro Sienna Miller, who did a fantastic James Bond routine, IFBB Bodybuilding Pro, Mah-Ann Mendoza and NPC Bodybuilding Champ Roger Baker. Roger Baker took 1st place at the 2009 Emerald Cup. And Todd Scott, the Junior Men award presenter, even got into the act by sneaking into the Jr. Men's posedown. When Siene Miller appeared later with Kim Farrison, she talked about the lack of Fitness athletes in bodybuilding shows and encouraged ladies to join Save Fitness. More can be found at the web site she mentioned at: www.savefitness.net. |

Fitness |
|
With so many athletes, it could have been a long show, but Kim Farrison kept it going smoothly and there was never a boring moment.
First in the competition was Nickie Bartram, the sole Fitness competitor. She took first in her division. And she did a great Kung Fu Fighter routine, very imaginative and very lively. |

Kristi Tauti, IFBB Fitness Pro poses with Zori Garasimchuk. |
|
The Figure Ladies divisions were huge this year. Starting with the Ladies under 5'3, a very large class with very lovely bodies, the first place award went to the gorgeous Shelia Andreatta. And no, don't ask how to pronounce that name. The Ladies 5'4 and under winner, Zori Garasimchuk, even in prejudging, stood out, she had an awesome look, but she had a hard time smiling. She had a big smile when she won Figure Overall, which was presented to her by Kristi Tauti.
Ladies 5'5 and under was largest class and Ron Smith himself said it was an extremly tough class to judge. Only one lady could take first spot though and the worthy winner was Shellie Duncan. Ladies 5'7 and under winner was Lisa Stark. Ladies under 5'9 winner was Sarah Goodson and Over 5'9 winner was the statuesque Kristina Tjernlund. The Women Masters Short winner just happened to be Shelia Andreatta, Masters Women Tall was yet another large, tough class to judge and it's hard to believe any of these women would be considered Masters Competitors. Lisa Stark was the winner of this class. |

Bikini |

The Bikini Division is new to this year's Seven Feathers Show, but there was still a good turnout of competitors. The Bikini Women under 5'4 winner was Jane Cerna in a difficult to judge class. Bikini under 5'6 winner was Katrina Burke who was also the Bikini Overall winner, presented to her by IFBB Fitness Pro, Nikki Crawford. Bikini over 5'6 first place was taken by Kate Hedrick. |

Great Posing Routine |
Bodybuilding |
Levi Serrao and Dusty Mink |
The bodybuilding division was very interesting this year as will be pointed out. The Junior Men had an exceptional quality of athletes this year. They looked more mature than even most of the Novice Class competitors. The judges proclaimed that this was the best Junior class ever in this show. They looked teriffic. And a very teriffic competitor took first, Alex Moan who looked amazing!
In the Novice Women Lightweight category, Dusty Mink took first place, the first of many awards for her. She is short, but she's built like a spark plug. She's a very animated and fun competitor. Novice Women Heavyweight winner was Kristina Tjernlund, her second trophy for the night. But the second place Heavyweight winner was a winner in a big way. Becky Griggs, used to weigh 325 pounds!! She lost all that weight and she competed and just her being on the stage was such an uplifting inspiration. Right on, Becky.
Novice Men Lightweight winner was Shawn Turner. Novice Men Middleweight winner went to the Junior Men's champ, Alex Moan. This was also an exceptional class and not easy for the judges to decide a winner. Novice Men Light Heavyweight, another tough large class, was won by Cory Adair. Cory also took the Overall in Novice Men. Novice Men Heavyweight winner was Viren Viohkola.
Masters Women over 35 was easily won by Joanna Wilson. Mixed Pairs Winners were Dusty Mink and Jerry Burger.
Masters Men were a great class this year. These guys looked awesome. Masters Men over 40 winner was Courtney Bacon. Masters Men over 50 winner was Henry Jung. Henry looked absolutely rock hard and deserved to win! He also took the Masters Overall, presented to him by Geri and Dan Davis

Joel Dale, Overall winner |
Henry Jung and Geri and Dan Davis |
Chris Fisher, Maori Warrior Routine |
Starting off the Open Division was Women Middleweight, won by Joanna Wilson and also took Overall. Open Women Heavyweight winner was Ene Sokk. Open Men Bantamweight was won by perennial competitor Dale Morishige. Dale has the distinction for competing in both the Oregon Ironman and Seven Feathers shows every year for many years. Open Men Lightweight winner was Greg Welch. This was another excellent class in the show. Open Middleweight winner was Jacques Pitcher, but the most noteworthy competitor in this class was Chris Fisher who did one of the best posing routines dressed as a Maori warrior. It was an exciting routine to watch and the audience responded loudly and appreciatively.
Open Men Light Heavyweight was won by Courtney Bacon. Remember him?
Open Men Heavyweight only had one competitor, Joel Dale, but aside from winning his class, he went on to win the Mens Overall. He had excellent symmetry and just the rought amount of muscle and was shredded. He looked fantastic. |

|
| This ends the biggest and best Seven Feathers show ever. Aside from many excellent classes and the new Bikini division, Ron and Sue really shine as they have presented another tough to beat show. They are gracious, generous with their crew, competitors, and are truly appreciated by all. This will be a tough show to beat, but I know they will make another gem of a show come next year. Thanks to them both for the opportunity to cover again for them. Congratulations on another fine show! |
